The treatment area is cleansed thoroughly, and a topical numbing agent may be applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. After treatment a bio cellulose, sterile, water based mask is applied to reduce any discomfort. These can also be purchased to use at home.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

Immediately after treatment you will look quite red similar to sun burn, it will go down within 24 hours. For most people it will only take a few hours, the next 24 hours your skin may feel tight, dry and possibly itchy due to the histamine release, that is part of the inflammation stage. After each Microneedling session you will be given specific aftercare that you need to follow along with a homecare kit to use for the next 48 hours only. The micro-channels that have been created stay open for up to 24 hours, so it is important for follow that aftercare.
