Cryopen is an FDA approved and CE marked cryotherapy device, that is a safe and powerful handheld cryosurgery tool, designed to remove all benign skin lesions between 1mm - 10mm on the face and body.
HOW IT WORKS-
Cryotherapy is the controlled destruction of unwanted tissue by the application of extreme cold. Cryopen delivers an ultra-cold jet of high-pressure nitrous oxide directly to skin lesion, removing benign cosmetic lesions quickly and effectively with no damage to healthy tissue. The extremely fine, pin-point jet produced by Cryopen allows the therapist to work safely with millimeter precision.

Clinical data shows that the results are permanent after just one session. Some types of skin lesions may return in other places if you are prone to them. On occasion you may need to return for more than one session.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
The treatment is mostly painless, but you may feel a sensation similar to a stinging nettle. The treatment is very quick and very tolerable.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AFTER TREAMTENT
The tissue may turn red and slight swelling may occur. The treatment itself is painless, but you may experience itching for a short period of time after.

HOW WILL IT HEAL?
This will depend on the lesion as some heal differently. The lesion will change in colour becoming much darker, then a crust will appear before falling off, usually between 10-14 days. In some cases the area will be lighter than the surrounding area due to loss of melanin, skin will return to its normal colour after a few weeks with care from sun exposure. Complete healing can take between 1-6 weeks depending on the size of the lesion.
